More Love & Compassion in Today’s Movie Industry

3 October 2017

If you just google ‘Hollywood blockbusters’ you will find a ton of ‘top-10/20/50/100-movies-depicting-the-end-of-the-world’ lists. Hollywood movie industry flourishes while directors and script writers do their best to impress us, their audience. They show us the most terrifying natural disasters adding as many visual and sound effects as they can. Surely it has its (powerful and sometimes harmful) impact on us.

Why? The answer is quite simple. Do you know how our subconscious mind works? When we think of something we so to speak project it to the reality, apply it to our life. At some level, each of us has always known that we have attracted people, things and events into our lives based on our thoughts. Thought is a quick, light, mobile form of energy that manifests instantaneously. As many of us now know and understand, we are, along with the rest of what we see and experience, made up of a miraculous interchange of vibrating waves of energy.

When we create something, we always create first in thought form. One law of energy is that energy of a certain quality or vibration tends to attract energy of a similar quality and vibration. Another important law of energy is whatever we put out into the universe is attracted back at us: "As you sow, so shall you reap" which means, whatever we think about the most, believe in the strongest, expect on the deepest levels, or imagine the most vividly about, shall be our experience. If you think of something quite often and more if you believe in it, it happens to you. To put it in a nutshell we get what we believe in.

One can’t disagree that those strong images like natural disasters, catastrophes, bombings, shootings etc. on the full screen provoke in us a wide range of different emotions (pity, anger, anxiousness, grief, sometimes we even cry etc.) but the main idea is that we just can’t left unaffected. These scary pictures (or rather scary thoughts) haunt us; we can’t get rid of them. That means just one simple thing: WE THINK OF THEM ALL THE TIME. Thus we project them to our reality. Haven’t you ever thought why there are so many destructions on our planet? Why does our tender and loving Mother Earth suffer from ‘diseases’ like tsunamis, typhoons, fires, storms, earthquakes etc.? Maybe it’s us who attracted all this to our lives? Maybe we became the enemies to ourselves, to our own world, to the planet we live on?

Today with such a thriving movie industry nothing is impossible. And if we draw some parallels, see some patterns and confess that those are not just a mere coincidence, we can change present tendency and begin shooting movies that will honor our planet, that will show all the love, beauty, tenderness and purity that the Earth contains. Maybe it is the only way to regain balance, to come to equilibrium.

Let’s then make movies about goodness, charity, love, happiness, serenity and compassion! Let’s change this great industry for the better!
